I was so excited when Ayden’s mom contacted me for his newborn photo session. I had been doing a lot of girls lately and, yes girls are a ton of fun to “accessorize”, I was ready for another boy. And then I found out that her due date was my original due date for my son (and their birthdays ended up being only 4 days apart)! I had also just obtained a bunch of fun new “boy” accessories and a fun fall hat knitted by my husband’s aunt for my son when he was a baby. I was excited to try them out 🙂
(thanks to Catily Crochet for this super cute striped hat)
I had never been to this part of Pittsburgh, so that was an adventure. My GPS of course took me on crazy back roads through the woods with at least a 200 ft drop on one side. Scenic for sure though haha! The day of the session was rainy and gross, but we used a bright blue blanket for some of the photos and I just love how bright and cheerful they turned out, despite the bad weather.
I’m always so impressed with how put together the new parents are, I certainly don’t remember being that presentable 🙂 Little Ayden did just awesome. He got a little fussy, but that resulted in some pretty amazing Mommy cuddle-time photos.
I had a really hard time narrowing these down, he is such a cutie! And I had such a fantastic time working with Mom and Dad as well. Such a great family to work with, so thank you for the opportunity!
