I was so excited when Rachel contacted me to do a newborn photo session for her soon-to-be baby boy. Somehow I had missed meeting her in the past couple years since she and her family moved in UP THE STREET! I’m a little embarrassed, but I’m so glad to have finally met her and her family. And we found out our older boys will be in the same grade. But back to the baby haha 🙂 He was the first of two of my February babies to decide he wanted to make a January appearance. But all went well and we rescheduled the session. This little guy was one of my sleepiest babies in awhile, we were able to get all sorts of fun poses. And I got to try out a bunch of my new props, which was really exciting.
Another of the huge coincidences was that my friend, who makes all of the adorable hats you see in my photos (check out her store here) made a sock monkey hat and wanted me to photograph it for her. Wasn’t I surprised to show up to the session and see that this little guy’s room was all decked out in sock monkey items! From art on the walls to toys to even a sock-monkey-in-the-box!! So perfect.
I even managed to get a shot of big brother staring outside at the crazy storm going on…
Check out the rest of the adorable photos of this guy. I had such a great time doing this session (and it didn’t hurt that I was able to walk over for the ordering session!) Congratulations to Mom and Dad on a beautiful baby boy!
